Thank you to all who have volunteered, given words of thanks and generally struggled with us through our start up. It has been quite a challenge from many points. As we move forward to Segment Two in our plan a few more things to consider and to remind members of. This is the time to let us know if you do not wish to continue with minor hockey for this season. We have had a few opt out and should this be your decision please drop an email to [email protected] and a copy to [email protected]

As much as we had a four centre plan for Segment Two one centre has chosen not to move forward so we will move ahead working with Stone Mills and Frontenac where possible. We still are limited to bubbles of 50 and rosters of 10. Games will start the weekend of November 14th and conclude December 20th . At that point we will break from games until January. A reminder that the second installment of registration fees are due November 16th . Anyone who made their first payment by etransfer should make their second installment the same way. Credit card payment will be automatically withdrawn.

  • As much as possible teams are balanced
  • LTMHA reserves the right to rebalance teams within the regulations of the OMHA
  • Players cannot play outside their bubble
  • A lack of goaltenders in the older divisions made rostering a challenge
  • In U13 Tier Two we will play within our own centre as logistically the three centres had an unbalanced number of teams
  • In the U18/U21 division we have eliminated Tier Two and all players will play Tier One in a four team loop
  • Rosters at this age group are set at 12 as per OMHA Regulations. Only ten players can dress per game. This will involve players possibly sitting out games but with work commitments this may not be an issue. It will be imperative that players communicate with their coaches in regards to work schedules. We were unable to secure goaltenders and players to make a fourth team plausible
  • There will be no team pictures this year
  • Team notifications will come out this week

  • Please check in using the online system with complete name, phone number for entrants
  • All participants and companions must wear a mask in the facility unless on the ice
  • One companion is allowed to accompany each participant for age categories U13 and under
  • Please remember to practice social distancincing while in the arena
  • U15 and up will have no spectators
  • Everyone entering the facility will complete screening at the front desk and sanitize hands
  • Follow directions from the volunteer greeter and the posted directions
  • Leave via the assigned back doors immediately upon completion of ice time
  • One hockey association in our PHU has received notice that they have to do a better job with protocol enforcement (we don’t want on that list)
