UPDATE July 16
Submitted By Paul Proderick on Thursday, July 16, 2020
It is that time of the year when rumours fly faster than golf balls.

First off be aware that all associations are operating under the same protocols and restrictions that our entire province is in right now. No plan has been designated by the OHF or the OMHA. The only thing that is a given right now is that things will be different this season and it has to be, in order to keep everyone as safe as possible. Whether hockey returns in September or January we aim to provide a program for our community.

What we can guarantee is that we will put out a fun, competitive but first and foremost SAFE hockey program for you to enjoy under whatever restrictions we are under by the Ontario Government, Health Canada/Local Health Units, Hockey Canada, Ontario Hockey Federation and the OMHA.

We have been in constant contact with the Township and we're confident a program can be had with rep, local league/house league or combined, as long as we all do our part and things continue to move in a positive direction but we just can't guarantee or plan anything definite right now.

We are also working closely with other neighboring centres to offer you competitive programs if and when we are allowed to do so.

We've opened registration at this time but we still can't accept payment as per the OHF.  We will collect fees at a later date when we know more.  Currently we have 142 players who have indicated they will be playing in the fall.  This is way ahead of past seasons at this time.  WE ENCOURAGE all who have not registered to do so ASAP.

We hope to have our AGM in August in a format that meets the guidelines that may be in place at that time. Please watch the website for upcoming information.

We hope everyone is enjoying the summer and we will keep you posted as soon as we know anything.

Hope to see you at the rink in September! Stay Safe!
