Covid Update
Submitted By Paul Proderick on Monday, November 29, 2021
Public health unit is reminding us to be actively screening ALL patrons and ensuring that anyone who does not pass the screening is NOT entering our facilities.  This reminder comes at a time when case counts are rising in our region and the consideration for restrictions is upon us (e.g. capacity limits).

Please remember to complete your screening and submit your screening through our website. Confirm your results with our covid door screener and present your proof of vaccination as required by the Provincial Government.

Teams are reminded that they are responsible for having a screener at all sessions at the Henderson Arena.  Please volunteer to take a shift with your team to share the burden we all face.

Loyalist Township has sent us the following note:

Please do your part in preventing the spread by ensuring your organization is actively screening, so our facilities may continue to move forward in the pandemic without further delays. The health and safety of our staff, patrons, and community is of the utmost importance to Loyalist Township.

In the coming weeks we will be randomly requesting contact tracing records to ensure that each user group is maintaining this responsibility and adhering to our protocols.  We thank everyone for the hard work that is being put into staying organized/committed during these unprecedented and unusual times. It does not go unrecognized and we are grateful that we have had such impressive compliance from our groups to date and that you have all contributed to our facilities staying open and our users staying safe.
