Background/Vulnerable Sector Check
All Team Officials (Coaches, Trainer, Manager) require a current background/vulnerable sector check.
It is imperative for all Team Officials to ensure their Vulnerable Sector Check is complete to be eligible to participate in programs on and off the ice. This includes submitting a valid Vulnerable Sector Check and the OHF Screening Declaration Form through the new centralized OHF process. Once reviewed your status in Hockey Canada Registry (HCR)/Spordle will be updated to note your valid VSC.
Before entering the OHF Screening Submission Portal, please ensure you are ready with the necessary documentation and your HCR/Spordle Number: https://www.ohf.on.ca/risk-management/ohf-vulnerable-sector-checks/
Remember to download the request letter provided by OHF that can be used when you apply for your VSC. You no longer require a letter from LTMHA.
Where do I find my HCR Number? - Login to HCR/Spordle, click on "Members" on the left and view the profile that belongs to you (not your players profile).
