Want to help LTMHA and earn remuneration towards your registration fees?

How do I get started?
Contact our Bingo Coordinator who will then make sure you have access to the online training video and schedule you for your first training shift with experienced LTMHA volunteers.

Please note: Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older.

What will I do as a volunteer?
Duties include greeting bingo players, alerting bingo hall staff to any customers that need assistance, walking around the bingo hall during games (it’s a great way to get your steps in!), assisting with tidying up during and between bingo sessions and generally representing LTMHA as a volunteer.  You do not have to call back bingos or sell bingo cards.

Typically you get assigned at least one shift every two months and plenty more are available - all handled by our Bingo Coordinator! Our usual shifts are Friday nights from 8 pm to 11:30 pm and extra shifts at other times of the week often become available.

What is the Bingo Hall like?
The bingo hall at Play! Gaming and Entertainment is a clean bright space with mostly digital bingo terminals that has been smoke free for sometime (this isn’t your grandparent’s bingo hall).

What’s in it for my family and I?
As a volunteer you will be remunerated for your volunteer hours through refunds to your Hockey Canada account and you receive an LTMHA polo shirt and name badge to be worn when volunteering.  For the usual 8 pm to 11:30 pm shift you will earn a $90 refund.

As a community partner, LTMHA benefits significantly from Play! Gaming and Entertainment which keeps our registration fees down. Every shift that LTMHA volunteers complete adds to our share of bingo revenue.
